The Florida Lottery started in the year 1988 and it was built with the intention of using the fund to upgrade the public education using the proceeds.

The tickets can only be purchased from authorized agents in person because it’s not available on the Internet. Anyone above 18 years old can play the game and stand a chance to win cash prizes.

The Florida Lottery has been controversial and creative with their approach to reward their players. One of the most recent strategies was by offering the winners with free gas for life in June 30th, when gas hit $4. The first set of winners was awarded with their prizes in Miami where the number one winning ticket were good for $250,000 if the winner prefer to get cash instead.

Five other people won themselves free gas for life, or $52,000 in cash while another 50 lucky people got themselves free gas for a year, amounting to $2,600 worth of prepaid gas cards.

FANTASY 5    Daily, 11:15 p.m. ET
PLAY 4        Daily, 1:30 p.m. and 7:57 p.m. ET
CASH 3        Daily, 1:30 p.m. and 7:57 p.m. ET
